Following the Jeep Wrangler Moab 392, it is now the Wrangler Whitecap’s turn to make its debut as part of Jeep’s Twelve 4 Twelve program.

To celebrate its 85th anniversary, Jeep decided to launch a special edition for each month of the year. Last November, the American automaker unveiled an impressive Moab 392 edition. For December, the spotlight turns to the Whitecap version.

The White Roof

As its name suggests, this version puts the emphasis on its white roof, paying tribute to the legendary Jeep CJ-Universal. The Whitecap package is therefore available on the Sahara and Rubicon trims. According to the brand’s CEO, “the Jeep Wrangler Whitecap is much more than a special edition—it’s a statement.” One thing is certain: the contrast between the white roof and the rest of the bodywork is sure to turn heads.

The Whitecap special-edition package is offered with two powertrain options. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 3.6-liter V6.

White Takes Center Stage

While the focus is primarily on the roof, it isn’t the only element finished in white with the Whitecap package. It also includes a white grille, Sahara or Rubicon badging, and several other smaller accents painted in white.

I don’t know about you, but I’m especially looking forward to seeing what surprises Jeep has in store for the other special editions coming over the next 10 months.
